For our last day of teaching, we threw the kids a big Christmas party! We planned for this event all semester long and it was well worth it! For the month of December, we made lots of Christmas crafts and taught the children Christmas songs. On the day of the party, our friend Jeff dressed up like Santa and took pictures with all the kids. Each of us teachers had a station where we made Christmas treats or played Christmas games. I did Christmas face painting for the kids and loved it! And then we ended the day with our home group where we gave them presents that we bought for them using the stipend money.
